I am a propulsion design engineer at Blue Origin in Kent, WA, where I specialize in turbomachinery. I attended Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering in Needham, Massachusetts, majoring in mechanical engineering. My engineering interests lie in aerospace, vehicle design, and climbing equipment design. My non-engineering interests include mountaineering, backpacking, cooking, and sports.
Blue Origin's BE-4 engine, which I have worked on since I was an intern in 2014. I have contributed to all turbomachinery on this engine.
Testing the drivetrain for the 2014/2015 Olin College baja car. I defined requirements, managed the team of students designing it, and was heavily involved in its manufacture and test.
FEA done on an ice axe for the UIAA load case of a boot-axe belay.
Flapping mechanism designed for an ornithopter.
Clutch system designed for a bio-inspired walking robot.
Rendering of the secoond prototype of an underactuated hand for Intro to Mechanical Prototyping.
Inner commutator and rotor for a motor my E&M project team built. I was the mechanical design lead.
